I'm Going Mad Here!
So I'm sitting at work bored out of my mind, shopping for netbooks. I haven't posted a blog from my iPhone except once, so I figure well, give it another whirl. I wonder if the iPhone has cropping capabilities on pictures. I thought it did, but now haven't been able to find it. So I guess I will be posting the latest Alice In Wonderland pics later. Bummer. I hope everyone is having a great Thursday! Almost time for an awesome weekend!
Ta Ta for now!

Re-post: Stella McCartney, Sue Wong and Swarovski join Tom Binns with 'Alice in Wonderland' tie-ins

Tim Burton’s digital 3-D “Alice in Wonderland” -- in theaters March 5 -- is already generating a buzz with its product tie-ins: But instead of McDonald’s Happy Meal toys, there’s cool stuff for grown-ups by Stella McCartney, Sue Wong and Swarovski, which join jewelry designer Tom Binns in issuing "Wonderland" pieces.
The Stella McCartney necklace and bracelet, handmade in Italy, use the story's iconic images -- the Mad Hatter’s hat, a rabbit, spades, clubs, hearts and diamonds -- as charms, which are strung (with pearl baubles and Swarovski crystals) on a chain similar to one used for the designer's Falabella bag. Stella McCartney boutiques will carry the accessories -- chain ($425) and bracelet ($395) -- starting in February.
Also available in February is Swarovski's "Underland" collection featuring 17 jewelry pieces -- pendants, necklaces, rings and earrings -- with "Alice in Wonderland" imagery: cups, saucers, teapots, keys, talking flowers and an enigmatic Cheshire Cat. "Underland" sells for $80 to $150 at Swarovski stores, online and select department stores.
Sue Wong has designed a collection of dresses, using antique lace and colors inspired by "Wonderland" characters -- Alice, the Red Queen, the White Queen, the White Rabbit and the talking flower garden. The Sue Wong collection for Walt Disney Signature, which includes baby-doll, empire waist and column dresses, retails for $329 to $609. They will be available next month at Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Macy's and online.
Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” starts where the Lewis Carroll story left off: When a 19-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) falls down a rabbit hole and reacquaints with old friends, the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas) and the Knave of Hearts (Crispin Glover), before going toe-to-toe with the dreaded "off with their heads" Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter).
